Margaritas for Cinco de Mayo
Happy Cinco de Mayo everybody! This is our first Cinco de Mayo with The Barmaid – the easiest way to rim cocktails. At the event this past weekend, we were asked many times for a margarita “How To” similar to the mint julep show from last week. Margarita enthusiasts have their favorite approach to making this classic cocktail and here is ours.
This recipe uses: Spicy Chili Salt
or Tangy Lime Salt
We posted this recipe a few weeks ago and used it to create the margarita in the show:
Fresh Margarita Cocktail Recipe(Serves 1)
Ingredients needed:
- 6oz Newman’s Own Limeade
- 2oz Tequila
- Splash Triple Sec
- Splash Pineapple Juice
- Ice
- Fresh squeezed lime and lime slices
- Lime Tree Cove Spicy Chili Salt
or Tangy Lime Salt
Directions:
- Squeeze lime juice into a cocktail shaker filled with ice
- Add limeade, splash of pineapple juice, triple sec and tequila
- Shake
- Wet rim with a lime slice
- Rim beverage with Lime Tree Cove Spicy Chili Salt
or Tangy Lime Salt
- Enjoy!
