How to make fresh grenadine
Fresh Grenadine is soooo much tastier than the bottled stuff.
Ingredients needed:
- 1 1/2 parts sugar
- 1 part pomegranite juice
Directions:
- Combine sugar and pomegranite juice in a large pot
- Bring to a boil while stirring frequently
- Remove at once from the heat (you don’t want this to boil over!)
- Cool to room temperature
You can use the grenadine immediately for cocktails. Store the unused portion in an air tight container in the refrigerator for cocktails anytime. For a lighter version, combine equal parts sugar and juice.
