Fun and easy to make cocktail recipes
Halloween Cocktails - 2 More in the series
This October we are rolling out a series of Halloween themed cocktails. Our first cocktail, a Halloween Margarita, was selected as the featured article in Slideshare's How to and DIY for October 26, 2010. You can see the slideshow in the article on our Cocktail Recipe blog. Our second cocktail was a Halloween Martini, which was very festive.
For the final edition, we have 2 great Halloween cocktail recipes. The first glows in the dark and the second is simple to make.
This recipe uses: Lime Tree Cove Fresh Lemon Cocktail Sugar
Bat's Blood (Or Vampire's Curse, or Transfusion etc. you get the idea) Halloween Cocktail Recipe
Ingredients needed:
- Black Light (makes this drink glow in the dark!)
- 2 ounces gin
- Premium tonic water
- Pomegranate Juice
- Lemon or lime wedge
- Rocks glass
- ice
- Lime Tree Cove Fresh Lemon Cocktail Sugar

- 4 ounces vodka (use Blavod Black Vodka if you can, as it really deepens the color). If no Blavod, also add ½ ounce
Directions:
- Set up the black light at your bar or serving area.
- In a cocktail shaker, add the gin and a splash of the pomegranate juice, add ice and shake.
- Moisten a rocks glass rim with the fruit wedge, and use your Barmaid Drink Rimmer to rim the glass with Lime Tree Cove Fresh Lemon Cocktail Sugar
. - Pour the shaker into the rocks glass, add the tonic (it’s the tonic that does the ‘glowing’ under black light) and set it where it will be illuminated by the black light.
My Bloody Valentine - Halloween Cocktail Recipe
This one is easy. Use your favorite Bloody Mary recipe, and trot out the Lime Tree Cove Hawaiian Black Lava Cocktail Salt. Moisten the rim of the glass with a lime wedge and rim the glass with the Cocktail Salt. The visual presentation is an eye-popper and very appealing; lots of fun! Happy Halloweening!
