How to make a Candy Cane Martini Video
The holiday season is in full swing now. Our schedule is full with Holiday parties and we're sure yours is as well. Whether you are hosting a party or attending one, the Lime Tree Cove Cocktail Blog has you covered for excellent cocktail recipes, tips, and cocktail host / hostess gifts. The first recipe in the series was the Gingerbread Martini.. The second cocktail is a popular one - the Candy Cane Martini. We offer two options for this cocktail - a Red one and a Green one. Big surprise there...
This recipe uses: Lime Tree Cove Sweet Mint Cocktail Sugar 
Candy Cane Martini Recipe - Red
Ingredients needed:
- 1.5oz Grey Goose Vodka
- 0.5oz Peppermint Schnapps
- 0.5 TBSP fresh grenadine
- Club Soda or Sprite
- 1 apple slice
- Candy Cane for garnish
- Ice
- Lime Tree Cove Sweet Mint Cocktail Sugar

Directions:
- Mix Vodka, Peppermint Schnapps, Grenadine into a martini shaker filled with ice.
- Shake
- Moisten glass rim with the fruit wedge, and use your Barmaid Drink Rimmer to rim the glass with Lime Tree Cove Sweet Mint Cocktail Sugar

- Pour into glass.
- Top with Club Soda or Sprite if desired
- Garnish with a Candy Cane
- Enjoy!
Candy Cane Martini Recipe - Green
Ingredients needed:
- 1.5oz Grey Goose Vodka
- 0.5oz Creme De Menthe
- 0.5 TBSP simple Syrup
- Club Soda or Sprite
- 1 apple slice
- Candy Cane for garnish
- Ice
- Lime Tree Cove Sweet Mint Cocktail Sugar

- Mix Vodka, Creme De Menthe, Simple Syrup into a martini shaker filled with ice.
- Shake
- Moisten glass rim with the fruit wedge, and use your Barmaid Drink Rimmer to rim the glass with Lime Tree Cove Sweet Mint Cocktail Sugar

- Pour into glass.
- Top with Club Soda or Sprite if desired
- Garnish with a Candy Cane
- Enjoy!

This is our favorite sugar coikoe1 cup butter3oz cream cheese1 cup sugar1 egg yolk1/2 tsp vanilla extract1/4 tsp almond extract (I sometimes just use all vanilla since I’m not that big of a fan of almond)2 1/4 cup flour1/2 tsp salt1/4 tsp baking sodaIn a mixing bowl, cream butter, cream cheese & sugar. Beat in egg yolk & extracts. In separate bowl combine flour, salt & baking soda. Gradually add to creamed mixture. Cover & refrigerate for 3 hours or until easy to handle. On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough & cut with coikoe cutters. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased coikoe sheet. Bake 275 for 8-10 minutes. Cool for 2 minutes & remove to wire rack to cool.
