Great Winter Tea Recipe - Cocktails to warm you up

It’s always a joy to sip a warming libation on a cold day. We all have tried the hot cider and coffee cocktails, and they’re great. Let’s look for something a little different from the ordinary to increase our variety. Try these as a break from your usuals and traditionals.

This recipe uses: Lime Tree Cove Gingerbread Cocktail Sugar   OR Fresh Lemon Cocktail Sugar   .

Winter Fruit Tea

Ingredients needed:

• 2 oz. bourbon/whiskey/rum
• 4 oz. brewed tea (full bodied teas are best)
• 3 oz. apple cider or juice
• 3 oz. pear or apricot nectar
• Lemon Wedge
• Lime Tree Cove Gingerbread Cocktail Sugar   OR Fresh Lemon Cocktail Sugar  

Directions:

1. Brew the tea. Mix all the liquid ingredients except the alcohol and heat on stovetop or in microwave until very hot but not boiling.
2. Wet rim of mug or coffee cup with the lemon slice, then and use your Barmaid Drink Rimmer to rim the glass with Lime Tree Cove Gingerbread Cocktail Sugar   OR Fresh Lemon Cocktail Sugar  
3. Pour the spirits into the mug, and add the hot liquid; stir.
4. Dust the top of the cocktail with Lime Tree Cove Gingerbread sugar if desired.
5. Sit down, curl up, and sip slowly.
