Winter Rum-tini - A cocktail to make you feel better

Late February signals three things, the start of school vacations, the beginning of the end of winter, and a revamped cold and flu season as the temperature drops and rises above freezing. This next cocktail is guaranteed to make you feel better when you are run down. This winter martini is fun and easy to make.

This recipe uses:  Fresh Lemon Cocktail Sugar   .

Winter Rum-tini - Martini Recipe

Ingredients needed:

• 2 oz. Bacardi Light Rum (you may substitute Grey Goose Vodka)
• 2 to 3 oz. apple cider or juice, to taste
• 2 oz. pear nectar
• 1/2 oz. orange liqueur (triple sec)
• Dash of peach or orange bitters (optional)
• Lemon or lime wedge
• Lime Tree Cove Fresh Lemon Cocktail Sugar  

Directions:

1. Add all liquid ingredients to ainto a martini shaker filled with ice.

2. Shake like you mean it for about 20 seconds.
3. Moisten glass rim with the fruit wedge, and use your Barmaid Drink Rimmer to rim the glass with Lime Tree CoveFresh Lemon Cocktail Sugar  
4. Strain into the cocktail glass or pour into the rocks glass.
5. Enjoy!
