Fun and easy to make cocktail recipes

St. Patricks Day Cocktail Recipes - Irish Coffee Cocktail Recipe

St. Patricks day is coming up on Thursday, March 17th. There is more to St. Patrick's day cocktails than green beer, Guiness, or Jameson. Also for those of you planning to make Black and Tans... use Harp. No true Irishman would ever mix Irish Stout with English ale.

Our first cocktail for St. Patrick's Day is the Irish Coffee. This popular warming libation was actually invented in Ireland during the late 1940’s. A wonderful mix of caffeine, alcohol and sweet cream revives the chilled and relaxes the soul.

Hot Grog Cocktail Recipe - Caribbean Style

Wow - That was a humdinger of a storm in the south and here in the Northeast. We got 12" of snow in Boston. Today during the storm, we made Hot Grog - Caribbean Style. This brought us to the beach - of only for a minute before we mentally prepared to shovel the heavy snow.

This is a variation on traditional British grog. It has vitamin C and rum – everybody wins! Good for sore throats, runny noses, aches, boredom, ennui, and nights with nothing on cable.
